Community Forestry

Trees do wonderful things for the City of Bonney Lake and contribute to our quality of life. Trees contribute in many ways. They add beauty, boost property values and reduce energy costs by cooling our environment. They contribute to our infrastructure by preventing erosion, reducing storm runoff and supplying food and shelter for wildlife. Bonney Lake has a climate conducive to rapid tree growth with the right combination of sunlight, moisture and soils.

The City of Bonney Lake recognizes the value of trees and is a proud Tree City USA community; recognized nationally for our citizen based effort to sustain our urban forest for the last 14 years.

Every year, in conjunction with Arbor Day, the City of Bonney Lake along with volunteers clean up local parks and plant trees along the trails.
