The City of Bonney Lake continues to closely monitor this situation. We will post updates and resources on COVID-19 on this web page as available.
On March 11, 2020, Mayor Johnson signed a Proclamation of Emergency for the City of Bonney Lake. The declaration of a state of emergency gives the City greater flexibility to take appropriate actions necessary to combat the emergency for the protection of persons and properties, and to provide appropriate emergency assistance to persons affected. Read the proclamation.
In an effort to take proactive measures to protect the health and safety of the community and staff, the City is implementing safety protocols and modifying our services.
The following is an update as of August 28, 2020:
City offices closed to public access
In accordance with the Governor's phased reopening plan and orders from the State Supreme Court, the Justice & Municipal Center, Police Department, and Public Works Center are currently closed to the public with the exception for individuals with scheduled court hearings. The Municipal Court counter remains closed. The Senior Center is
closed in conjunction with the School District closure but offering drive-through lunch service. We will keep you updated as we
reassess the situation. Many of our services
