Mayor's 10th Annual Food Drive 2023

Date: Week of November 13, 2023

Food and meals are a celebration that bring families together during the holidays. Unfortunately, for those facing food insecurity, this is a stressful time to provide for their children and ensure food is available.

In the spirit of the holidays, Mayor Michael McCullough is continuing the tradition of partnering with Murrey's Disposal and the Bonney Lake Food Bank, and asking for your support in making the holiday a little brighter for those facing food insecurity. Please consider donating food to support the more than 1,000 families of the Bonney Lake Food Bank during the Mayor’s 10th Annual Food Drive, Nov. 13-17, 2023.

To donate food
Murrey’s Disposal is making it simple to donate food items. Bonney Lake residents will receive a plastic bag in the mail to place your nonperishable food donations next to your garbage cart by 7:00 a.m. on your service day - Nov. 15 or Nov. 16.

The biggest need for holiday meals right now:
Boxed stuffing
Cornbread mix
Instant mashed potato flakes
Cream of mushroom soup
Canned or packet gravy
Canned green beans
Canned pumpkin
Canned cranberry sauce
