Police Careers

The Bonney Lake Police Department is comprised of 30 commissioned Police Officers and 2.5 limited-commission Community Service Officers, .5 limited commission Bailiff and five civilian support staff. In addition to the regular duties of a Police Officer, the department also offers opportunities for ancillary duties to include, but not limited to: Marine Services Unit, Investigations, Field Training Officer, Specialized Traffic Emphasis, Public Information Officer, multi-agency SWAT team, School Resource Officer, Firearms Instructor and other opportunities. The Bonney Lake Police Department offers a competitive salary and benefits package to include granting a Paid Time Off bank commensurate with your experience for lateral hires (possible link to the current salary and benefits of the commissioned staff).
