Residents that live on streets identified as restricted are issued a free permit from the City to continue to park on the street. Vehicles parked on the street without the permit will be subject to the enforcement measures provided in the code. The intent of these restrictions is to preserve on street parking for neighborhood residents.
Parking permits will be mailed out annually. Included will be two (2) resident parking permit stickers for your rear window and one (1) guest hanging placard. Annual permits will be mailed out before January 1st of each year.
Permits & Signage: In order for an individual to legally park a vehicle in a restricted area, the vehicle must have either a resident parking permit or have a guest parking permit pass. Each household or residence in the restricted areas will be eligible to receive two (2) free residential parking permits and one guest parking pass. These will be mailed annually.
The restricted parking areas will be clearly marked by posted signage along the roadsides. Per
Bonney Lake Municipal Code 10.36, an individual will be issued a parking infraction for parking in a restricted area without a properly displayed permit.
