The Bonney Lake Arts Commission is seeking one community member to join its dynamic and creative team.
Residents with a passion for the arts — whether in music, painting, dance, sculpture, or other creative fields — are encouraged to apply. The Arts Commission plays an active role in enhancing the community through a variety of projects and initiatives.
Current efforts led by the Commission include the Utility Box Art Wrap project, painted bird artwork along SR 410, painted trash receptacles in local parks, writing workshop for youth, multimedia projects, Ascent Park artwork selection process, and more. Serving on the Commission offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the cultural vibrancy of Bonney Lake and help shape future artistic endeavors.
The Arts Commission meets quarterly on the third Wednesday of the first month of each quarter at 6 p.m. at the Bonney Lake Justice & Municipal Center. Remaining meeting dates for the year are July 15 and October 21.
